The pressure on livability in urban areas is mounting: ever-shrinking space, an abundance of stone and concrete, and a lack of green spaces, combined with heat stress, noise pollution, and complex urban planning challenges, make it difficult to create a pleasant living environment. While the sustainability agenda often takes center stage, well-being—the human dimension—remains too often overlooked.

In this session, we’ll explore how innovative solutions such as blurring zones, rooftop gardens, shared living spaces, and smart urban design can contribute to healthy, inclusive, and future-proof cities. Together with a panel of experts, we’ll discuss what is possible, how to enhance the quality of space in challenging contexts, and which choices truly make a difference.

Be inspired and motivated to make the city livable for everyone.
Together for each other.
