Hanneke Straver

Anneke Straver is Senior Town Planner at the Gemeente ’s‑Hertogenbosch. She works on complex inner-city area development projects, including the Spoorzone, bringing to bear her many years of experience from London. Ever since her student days—Masters in Urban Design (TU Eindhoven) and Urban & Cultural Geography (Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen)—she has been fascinated by how city and society influence one another. She believes it is important to shape the Spoorzone together with the city, into a dynamic and liveable area.
