The densification of our cities is accompanied by a large number of homes on a small footprint. Many of these dwellings are small homes and are usually combined into large volumes. This raises the question of what becomes of the scale of the city or neighbourhood: the places where you meet one another and where there is a sense of community and ownership. Of course, this concerns the direct outdoor space and the way the ground floor is shaped, but also what happens inside the building to encourage neighbourhood spirit. This is certainly not only a design question. It is also, explicitly, about programming and the way this is arranged so that it works from delivery onwards.

Based on a number of stories from the municipality and the market, we will discuss how you create a building in which social quality is central and how you secure this properly.
