LifeCentral: from shopping centres to Full Service Centers

Shopping centres that don’t just put shopping at the centre, but also contribute to a better everyday life. Based on that belief, Wereldhave developed the LifeCentral strategy: a strategic plan in which centres are transformed into Full Service Centers. One-stop locations where groceries, retail, sport, health, work and leisure come together.

This transformation is no longer theory. In recent years, various Wereldhave centres in the Netherlands and Belgium have been redeveloped, with measurable results for visitors, tenants and the centres themselves. During this session, Wereldhave shows how that strategy works in practice: which choices are made, which partners play a role, and what the formula delivers in concrete terms.

A separate theme is the growing value of busy centres as a marketing platform. Brands and advertisers are increasingly discovering that Full Service Centers offer unique opportunities for activation and visibility, precisely because they attract a broad and loyal audience that returns regularly.
