International Investment Day at PROVADA: programme announced

Following the earlier announcement of the launch of the International Investment Day, PROVADA now presents the full programme for Thursday, 11 June 2026. As the largest real estate exhibition in the Netherlands, PROVADA brings together leading market parties for a day of insights, discussion and networking. The newly introduced international investment programme—developed in collaboration with INREV, Holland Metropole and the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning—offers international investors direct access to key developments, policy perspectives and investment opportunities in the Dutch market.

Morning programme (hosted by PROVADA & INREV)

The day starts at 10:00 hrs (Forum 1) with coffee and introductions, followed by the session 'From Europe to the Netherlands: Aligning Housing Policy and Investment'. This forward-looking discussion will address capital flows, regulation and the investment climate, featuring leading international experts.

Networking (11:30 – 12:00 hrs)

After the session, participants can continue the conversation at the stand of the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning.

Lunch & afternoon programme

Exhibitors across the floor will host guests for lunch at their stands.
The afternoon features a selection of in-depth sessions, including:

  • The Netherlands in the European Headquarters Race
    Hosted by Buck Consultants & Savills (12:15 – 13:00 hrs, Forum 1)
  • A deep-dive session on the Dutch fiscal and regulatory landscape
    Hosted by Deloitte (12:15 – 13:00 hrs, Forum 3)
  • Affordable housing through reuse, retrofit and smart investment
Hosted by Arup (13:30 – 14:30 hrs, Forum Arena)

Throughout the day, Exhibitors representing national and local governments, real estate investment managers and international advisors — will host international guests at their stand and organise informal networking drinks later in the afternoon.

Join us in Amsterdam on 11 June and be part of the International Investment Day at PROVADA. For the full programme and updates, please visit the PROVADA website.

Foreign capital needed to meet housing construction targets

The fiscal threshold for foreign pension funds and insurers to invest in the Dutch housing market must be significantly lowered. That is the view of Mark Siezen, CEO of asset manager Bouwinvest. 'Foreign capital is absolutely essential to meet the enormous housing construction challenge. That requires a stable housing policy and fiscal climate. I am hopeful: the new minister recognises this and will act on it.'
