Almost a quarter of all our homes are part of a VvE. And many VvEs face a major challenge: combining maintenance, renovation and sustainability improvements in a smart way, keeping it affordable and making decisions together in good time. The construction and installation sector plays a key role here. Contractors, advisors and other chain partners in particular help to make plans practical and scalable.
During this interactive session, the Ministry of VRO and the VvE knowledge centre from Milieu Centraal will show where we currently stand with the acceleration agenda for sustainability and maintenance for VvEs and what this concretely means for the parties involved. We will share which support and practical tools from the VvE knowledge centre are already available to get projects effectively off the ground, such as the VvE helpdesk.
In addition, we would like to discuss real-world practice: where do contractors and other professionals encounter difficulties in VvE projects? What knowledge, tools and support are needed to speed up sustainability improvements and maintenance?

On Tuesday 9 June at 10:00 AM, PROVADA will be officially opened by Lieutenant General Dick van Ingen, Deputy Director-General of Policy at the Ministry of Defence. Through his contribution, PROVADA underlines the current and growing intersections between Defence and the real estate sector.

The fiscal threshold for foreign pension funds and insurers to invest in the Dutch housing market must be significantly lowered. That is the view of Mark Siezen, CEO of asset manager Bouwinvest. 'Foreign capital is absolutely essential to meet the enormous housing construction challenge. That requires a stable housing policy and fiscal climate. I am hopeful: the new minister recognises this and will act on it.'
