Are you joining us to look beyond today and across national borders?

At the Zuid-Limburg+ stand, we show how our region is developing into a dynamic, cross-border engine of innovation. In South Limburg, we don’t think in borders—we think in opportunities. With a border that lies just “only” 7 km from the Netherlands and no fewer than 222 km connecting us with our Belgian and German neighbours, our region is at the heart of Europe. We make full use of this unique position: cooperation doesn’t stop at the national border, but begins there instead. One of the clearest examples of this euregional way of thinking is the Trans Regio Express (TRE): a cross-border daily urban system within the Euregio Meuse-Rhine. This project shows how infrastructure not only brings people together, but also strengthens regions, creates economic opportunities and opens up new perspectives for spatial development and real estate. In South Limburg, we are building for the future—together with partners, public authorities and market players.

But we are also explicitly looking ahead. That is why we invite students to join us in thinking along. What will the region of tomorrow look like? What role does mobility play in that development? And how do you translate big ambitions into concrete, feasible plans? We challenge you to look beyond today. To think across borders. And to build together with us a region where it really happens.

You are warmly invited to our stand 11.19, where local staff and students will be on hand to speak with you. If you’re lucky, there might even be a piece of Heuvelland pastry waiting for you!
