As co-founder of social design studio Arttenders, Siobhan Burger (Rotterdam, 1988) was already captivated ten years ago by the question of how to design social, sustainable living environments. At the time, she approached this through community engagement and applied art as part of area development. At Dura Vermeer, she was able to broaden her role as a concept developer and later as programme manager for social impact.
Since June 2025, she has been Director Social Impact and Sustainability at VORM. From this position, Burger aims to drive the entire sector towards system change in pursuit of value-driven development. She studied Museum Studies at New York University, Arts and Culture Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Industrial Design at TU Delft.
