Daniek van der Zanden is Sector Manager CRE Residential at Rabo Real Estate Finance. In this role, she provides direction for the residential vision within the commercial real estate sector, with a focus on reducing the housing shortage and delivering affordable, future-proof living environments. She translates societal trends into financeable concepts and strategic proposals that contribute to inclusive and thriving communities.

With a specialism in collective housing models, social communities and themes such as housing & care and liveability, she encourages innovative housing approaches and explores how the real estate sector can contribute to societal challenges. With her broad network of market parties, she identifies developments early on and translates them into insights for clients and colleagues.

She has been active within Rabobank since 2013. After eight years of experience as a financial adviser with a specialism in mortgages, she broadened her perspective to the institutional and commercial domain within real estate. Her background in Financial Services Management provides a solid foundation for her role as a conversation partner.
