Suzanne van den Eijnden is committed daily to affordable and suitable housing for seniors with and without care needs. As a portfolio manager at Woonzorg Nederland, she is responsible for the national development of the housing and care real estate portfolio and works on the complex challenge of connecting living and care in a sustainable way.

A challenging task in a time when the housing and care issues are enormous, affordability for residents and the business case create a tension, and the target group is so diverse. Within the senior demographic, there are various housing preferences and (care) needs. The vitality of older adults is not determined by their age but by their lifestyle and health. Therefore, Woonzorg Nederland offers a wide range of housing options focused on lifestyle, vitality, and housing preferences.

Woonzorg Nederland is a national housing corporation specialized in senior housing and care real estate. Woonzorg Nederland operates in half of the Dutch municipalities with a portfolio of about 28,000 independent senior homes and 13,000 assisted living units, and collaborates with approximately 100 care partners in 160 nursing homes.
