About Marja Appelman

Marja Appelman has been the Director of the Housing Market at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations since August 1, 2018. Prior to this, she held various other positions within the government. She was the director of the Gambling Authority, deputy director of Cure at the Dutch Healthcare Authority, researcher and head of department for service companies at the Central Planning Bureau, and senior policy officer at the Ministry of Economic Affairs. From 2008 to 2013, Marja was a partner at SiRM, a strategic consultancy in regulated markets, which she co-founded, with a focus on healthcare. Since January 1, 2009, Marja has been a member of the Supervisory Board of HADOKS, an association for and by general practitioners in the Haaglanden region.
