Maarten Markus

Maarten works as a sustainability manager at area developer AM, focusing on sustainable solutions for future-proof cities. As a planner, he specializes in the implementation of sustainability in urban development. He has previously worked on urban renewal projects with the municipality of Amsterdam. Besides his work at AM, he is active as an editor at Rooilijn, a member of the Nieuw Amsterdam Raad at Pakhuis de Zwijger, and as a Fellow involved in the research program Urban Arenas for just and sustainable cities.
