Jos Melchers

Since August 2017, Jos Melchers has been appointed Director of Area Development at the Urban Development cluster of the Rotterdam municipality. Jos is responsible for the financial and commercial aspects of urban area development. Jos studied Architecture at Delft University of Technology and has been working in the real estate sector since 1985. He was, among other roles, Managing Director at MAB, responsible for often complex, large-scale, multifunctional inner-city projects. From 2016 to 2017, Jos was Development Director at MRP Development and partner in OperatieNL. Jos (born 1958) lives in Sassenheim, is married, and has three children.
