Harry Morskate

Harry Morskate (1964) has extensive experience as a consultant and civil servant in the public sector. He is well-versed in the spatial domain and is always innovating within it. For example, he has been involved in the development of Brainport Smart District: a neighborhood of the future with 3,000 homes between Helmond and Eindhoven, which aims to become the smartest in the world.

Harry, as the housing development director for the Municipality of Eindhoven, is responsible for the significant housing task faced by the city, which is the fifth-largest city in the Netherlands and the heart of the Brainport region. Alongside the regular goal of producing 3,000 homes per year, an additional 500 temporary homes will be realized next year. Space for this can only be created in the existing city through densification. This makes the challenge even greater!
