Dirk Bakker

Since September 1, 2017, I have been the Chief Executive Officer for Colliers in the Netherlands, where I work with over 380 professionals spread across five offices. I am an enthusiastic leader with a strong vision and drive, a passion for talent development, and I am always open to new ideas and initiatives. At Colliers, I have also been active since late 2009 as Director of Hotels, where I established the current hotel division of Colliers in the Netherlands and EMEA.

I have more than thirty years of experience in real estate, ranging from operational advice to hotels with a focus on database management, customer loyalty programs, and hotel reservation systems to hotel development and real estate financing related areas. I have gained my international entrepreneurial experience in many countries and regions, including Europe, the Middle East, India, and Brazil.
