Henri Schimmel

Henri Schimmel is a Senior Development Manager at BPD (Bouwfonds Property Development) and is responsible for the Gelderland-Midden region. Henri internally manages a team of real estate professionals active in long-term acquisition processes and area development projects. Additionally, he is responsible for external contacts with stakeholders such as municipalities and construction companies. In large-scale and multifunctional area developments — with an emphasis on housing — Henri plays a central role by coordinating all stakeholders and knowledge disciplines.

Henri has a background in civil engineering and business economics and is currently pursuing an MBA at Nyenrode Business University, focusing on public-private partnerships. Furthermore, Henri regularly speaks at knowledge events and holds guest lectures at institutions including Radboud University and HAN University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem-Nijmegen. His work focuses on knowledge and experience at the intersection of theory and practice in area development.
