Chantal Zeegers

Chantal Zeegers is an alderman for D66 in Rotterdam. She is responsible for Climate, Building, and Housing. Chantal has worked in various roles for the Ministry of Education and the Rotterdam municipality. Since 2011, she has been active in politics for D66. She started as a daily administrator for the district of Hillegersberg-Schiebroek, handling topics such as outdoor space, sustainability, and traffic and transport. Between 2018 and 2022, she was the parliamentary leader of D66 in the Rotterdam city council. Zeegers was born in 1967 and has lived in Rotterdam almost her entire life. She is married and mother to two adult sons. In her free time, she spends time with friends, running, and visiting museums.
