Gertjan van der Baan

Gertjan van der Baan (1968) has been the CEO of Vesteda since 2014. Prior to this, he was chairman of the board of the housing investor Nationaal Grondbezit, part of the Van Herk Group, for over ten years. Before that, he worked for nearly nine years in the field of Corporate Finance at Kempen & Co. Gertjan graduated as a business economist from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He lives in Amsterdam, is a board member of the Shorttrack Association De Amsterdamsche IJsclub, and plays football in his free time for AFC as goalkeeper of 'JO60-1'.
