Ferdinand Grapperhaus

Ferdinand Grapperhaus is currently the Managing Partner of Deloitte Legal in the Netherlands. With more than 30 years of experience in the legal sector and academia, Ferdinand has built an impressive career. Previously, he was a partner in the Employment & Benefits practice at Allen & Overy, where he also served as chairman of the board for two years.

His expertise includes international and multi-jurisdictional reorganizations and the development and implementation of multinational compensation policies for financial institutions and companies in more than 40 countries. From 2005 to 2017, Ferdinand was a part-time Professor of European Labour Law at Maastricht University and a member of the Social and Economic Council, appointed by royal decree. Between October 2017 and January 2022, he served as Minister of Justice and Security in the Rutte III cabinet.

At Deloitte, Ferdinand is responsible for further developing legal services with a particular focus on the public sector, and plays a key role in Deloitte Legal's international development worldwide.
