Boris van der Gijp

Boris van der Gijp has been the Real Estate Director at Achmea Real Estate (ARE) for almost three years. In his role, he is responsible for both the relationship with the institutional investors who invest through ARE and with the real estate market, where sustainable housing, retail, and healthcare property projects are purchased. Boris previously was responsible for Commercial Real Estate Asset Management and Strategy & Research within the management team of ARE. Prior to that, Boris was, among other roles, active as director at the project developer of ASR/Fortis and policy advisor at NEPROM. Boris is chairman of Kern, a member of the supervisory board of ASRE, and a board member of the charity organization HomePlan.
