René Buck

René Buck completed his studies in economic geography (cum laude) and urban planning at Radboud University Nijmegen in 1985. After his studies, he founded the research and consulting firm Buck Consultants International. With over 35 years of experience, René understands the backgrounds and perspectives of many stakeholders and speaks their 'language': from international concerns to regional companies, from (real estate) developers to investors/investors, from universities and colleges to specialized research institutes, from broad interest organizations to sectoral trade organizations, and from municipalities and provinces to ministries and the European Commission. Buck Consultants International has 70 employees and offices in Nijmegen and The Hague, London, Frankfurt, Shanghai, Singapore, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Silicon Valley. In March 2020, the renowned business magazine Forbes listed Buck Consultants International among America’s Best Management Consulting Companies. In November 2019, René Buck was elected Best CEO in the Management Consulting Industry by Business Worldwide Magazine.
