During this lunch session, we’ll take you through the development of the new residential district in Ravenstein (Oss). A story about working together with the local area, creating an inclusive community, and connecting living with landscape and identity—told by Ballast Nedam Development and its involved partners.

With the new district in the Stationskwartier, Ravenstein is set to gain a contemporary living environment where nature, rural quality and sustainability are at the core. The district will be a green, future-proof extension of the city, where living and landscape blend seamlessly.

The development places a strong emphasis on sustainability and nature-inclusive design: rainwater is captured locally, the public realm is designed to be green and climate-adaptive, and mobility is given a new balance, with priority for pedestrians and cyclists.

Speakers: Tessa Haarler (project developer, Ballast Nedam Development), Sam Kapper (Developer, Ballast Nedam Development), Nick Strating (project developer, Ballast Nedam Development) Mark van der Heide (FARO architecten).
