One building, two lifecycles — from living infrastructure to a resource bank.

Time: Thursday 11 June · 10:30–11:30 · Stand 12.26, Living Hub

Description: Cities lose billions every year in material value. We build, demolish and dispose — while the built environment is the country’s largest stock of raw materials. Circular construction is the answer — but only if you retain that material value once the building has reached the end of its life.

Liven World develops modular, deconstructable neighbourhoods where living, wellbeing, mobility and community come together. MAECONOMY gives every material stream a digital identity and makes its value visible, measurable and tradable. Together, they close the loop: from design to reuse.

Almere Randstad 21 is proof that it works. 332 homes, designed to be 100% deconstructable, the first modular high-rise tower in the Netherlands.

For: developers, housing associations, municipalities and investors that are genuinely thinking about circular area development.
