A tour of the scale model of Almere Randstad 21 and what living infrastructure means in practice.

Almere Randstad 21 is not a typical new-build project. It is the first fully integrated living infrastructure development in the Netherlands and the first modular high-rise tower at this scale — 334 homes, two towers, designed by MVSA, modularly built by VDL De Meeuw in collaboration with housing association De Alliantie.

During this session, we will take you through the scale model at stand 12.26. How does modular construction work at high scale? What does living infrastructure mean in practice — for the builder, the housing association and the resident? And what could this model mean for the broader housing delivery challenge in the Netherlands?

VDL De Meeuw, MVSA and Liven World answer those questions by drawing on the project they are building together. Jeroen leads the discussion with the questions that really matter.

For: developers, housing associations, municipalities and anyone who wants to see what tomorrow’s housing looks like today.
