The pressure to deliver more homes quickly is high. The central government is therefore making part of its land available for the housing challenge, including Almere Pampus: a new district with space for 25,000 to 35,000 homes. But how do you develop not only homes, but also a liveable, future-proof neighbourhood?
During this session, among others, Ivan Nio, Social Bouwmeester, Francesco Veenstra, Rijksbouwmeester, and Paul Tang, alderman for Spatial Development, will talk about how social value, community building, sustainability, and the guiding role of water and soil are incorporated from the outset in the development of Almere Pampus. The intensive collaboration between the central government and the municipality of Almere will also be discussed—necessary to make this large-scale area development possible.
An inspiring session for anyone looking to build more than just homes.
