Het Masterplan Roosendaal (onderdeel van de toekomstvisie RSD40) wordt een grootschalig ontwikkelingsplan dat de stad verbindt door stevig in te zetten op de vernieuwing van de Spoorzone en de binnenstad. Het doel is een kwalitatieve sprong voorwaarts te maken in leefbaarheid, wonen en werken. De focus ligt op het transformeren van het gebied rondom het spoor naar een bruisende plek waar o.a. wonen, werken, educatie en reizen samenkomen. Als eerste is het gebied rondom het bestaande stationsgebouw aan de beurt. In het zogenaamde Stationskwartier bundelen, Provincie Noord-Brabant, Gemeente Roosendaal, NS en woningcorporatie Alwel hun krachten om samen een levendig, groen en toekomstbestendig gebied te creëren. Op korte termijn wordt hiervoor een partnerselectie opgezet. Tijdens de Provada geven Bartele Boersma (aanjager woningbouw gemeente Roosendaal) en Patrick van de Watering (Projectmanager Stationskwartier gemeente Roosendaal) een toelichting op de Kwaliteitssprong en de gebiedstransformatie van het Stationskwartier.
