Imagine we are 10 years further. The urgent housing delivery has been met. But do we then live in pleasant, green and water-rich living environments? Do we build for today’s shortfall, or do we build for areas that will still be functioning over 100 years from now? Presentation by Co Verdaas, Deltacommissioner and professor of Area Development (TU Delft).

At PROVADA 2026, the PROVADA Inspiration Award 2026 was presented to Michel Baars. The award is presented annually to an individual who realises sustainable change within the built environment through vision, courage and decisiveness. This year's presentation marks the award's fifth edition.
