Isabelle Vries

Isabelle Vries (MCD) works on complex area transformation projects, currently as area developer of Spoorzone Tilburg. Over the past 20 years, she has held various roles at Havenbedrijf Rotterdam and the Municipality of Rotterdam. As a strategist and process manager, she led the development of long-term visions (Haven plans, Koers op Zuid, NOVEX Haven), among other responsibilities. She also worked as programme manager on the transformation of City Harbour districts and as a lecturer at Hogeschool Rotterdam. From 2017 to 2022, she led the M4H programme office, which among other things produced the Spatial Framework and coordinated the development strategy for Merwe-Four Harbours. She is currently working for the Municipality of Tilburg on Spoorzone, a development that has been carried out for 15 years in a PPP arrangement with SDK Vastgoed.
