Vanuit de EPBD-regeling geldt dat utiliteitsgebouwen vanaf 1 januari 2026 met een verwarmings- of koelsysteem van 290 kW of meer moeten beschikken over een Gebouwautomatiserings- en Controlesysteem (GACS). In 2030 daalt die grens naar 70 kW.

At PROVADA 2026, the PROVADA Inspiration Award 2026 was presented to Michel Baars. The award is presented annually to an individual who realises sustainable change within the built environment through vision, courage and decisiveness. This year's presentation marks the award's fifth edition.
