Parametric Design
Our parametric models help us maintain control over the wishes, requirements, and ambitions of users, municipal documents, and laws and regulations. A parametric model makes the planning process data-driven and transforms a static brief (PVE) into a dynamic one. The parametric models are directly linked to the design, ensuring control, insight, and efficiency throughout the entire development process.
In addition to the brief, sustainability requirements such as BREEAM and WELL principles, construction budgets, daylight and sun exposure studies, wind analyses, noise levels, and input from external consultants can all be integrated into the models. We also see great potential in incorporating parameters from surrounding buildings and local residents in inner-city areas. In this way, we can assess projects in an integrated manner and continuously steer toward high-quality living, environmental, and spatial outcomes.
