During PROVADA, this session explores the position of the Netherlands in the international competition for European headquarters. Representatives of international companies that have established their European headquarters in the Netherlands will share their experiences and insights into their location choice.

Why did they select the Netherlands over other countries? How did the location decision process work internally? And what factors ultimately determined the final choice of city and office location?

The session is structured around a series of short one-on-one interviews with company representatives. They will discuss the key location factors that played a role in their decision-making process, the countries and cities that were part of the final selection, and their experiences operating in the Netherlands so far.

Topics include talent availability, taxation, real estate, accessibility and the role of the workplace in attracting and retaining talent.

In the second part of the session, experts from Buck Consultants, Savills and the government (Holland Invest/NFIA) will reflect on the insights shared by the companies and discuss what steps could further strengthen the Netherlands’ competitive position as a location for international headquarters.

This session offers valuable perspectives for anyone interested in international investment, corporate location strategy and the future of the Dutch business climate.
