PROVADA –  Inspiration Awards 2023

Presentation Awards: Thursday 15 June 2.30 pm

We need heroes who break systems, who activate people and organizations to make an impact together. Positive impact on the built environment. The time for talking is really over. We must act together. We all can be heroes. With this call-to-action, PROVADA launched the theme for 2023 in November. We want to put the spotlight on the real heroes of the built environment in the Netherlands. Who is tirelessly committed to more sustainability in our sector and which project has been completed that we can take as an example?

 

Inspiration Award 2023

The Inspiration Award rewards the impact an individual can have on the sustainability agenda in his or her work environment by inspiring others and making choices in which sustainability and the 1.5 degree society are the most important factors and drivers.

This award is for an individual who has gone above and beyond in bringing about sustainable change within his or her organization or within our field of work. Do you know who your great source of inspiration is? Do you know someone who should be put in the spotlight because of inspiring choices in the field of sustainability?

Nominate your hero before June 1, 2023 with a short explanation. This can be done by sending an email to frederike@provada.nl

Inspiration Project awards 2023

Sustainability is not a silo, you cannot separate it from economic and social challenges. To create a better and more resilient future for the planet and for ourselves, we need to look beyond just sustainability to projects in the built environment. These projects also look at diversity, equality, accessibility and connection with the environment and provide an integrated long-term plan for their project.

Do you know such a project? A team or a collaboration that really looks at the impact of their project on sustainability, quality of life and the environment with a solid long-term vision?

Nominate that project (with project team/spokesperson) before 1 June 2023 with a brief explanation. This can be done by sending an email to frederike@provada.nl

The judging and jury

All nominations and nominees will be reviewed by our judges. Before the ceremony, three remaining nominees (per category) will be presented.

The jury consists of:

  • Fleur Spijker (alderman of the municipality of Leiden)

  • Guido Braam (Powered by Meaning) Suze Gehem (The Green Canals & Rooftop Revolution)

  • Norbert Schotte (Gideon/winner 2022) and Joost Thus (Gideon/winner 2022)

  • Dirk Dekker (director of Being Development)

  • Frederike Lengers (PROVADA)
