PROVADA welcomes new municipal governments to the trade fair

PROVADA is organising an introductory programme with the real estate sector, with the support of among others NEPROM, VNG and the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning. A flying start for new administrators.

Building together starts with knowing each other

Following the municipal elections of 18 March, many municipalities are entering a new governing period. New aldermen, council members and party boards face significant challenges, with housing construction among the most urgent. Now more than ever, it is important to quickly gain insight into the tasks ahead, the parties involved and the opportunities to take steps forward together.

That is why PROVADA invites all (new) administrators to an introductory programme on Thursday afternoon, 11 June, at RAI Amsterdam. The programme offers an opportunity to explore the real estate sector and connect with developers, construction companies, government bodies and partners.

Accelerating through collaboration

Acceleration requires strong collaboration — and that starts with knowledge and mutual trust. Getting to know one another and understanding each other's perspective forms the foundation for advancing projects together.

The plenary programme focuses on building with social impact. Through area development examples, it becomes clear how housing construction can contribute to liveability, health, sustainability and inclusion. Developments in construction will also be addressed, including industrialised building, digitalisation and new forms of collaboration that can speed up the process.

Tour of the exhibition floor

This is followed by a guided tour of the exhibition floor, with room for conversation and deeper engagement. Administrators will be introduced to projects and have the opportunity to speak with the parties involved. The afternoon concludes with a drinks reception to forge and strengthen connections.

PROVADA is organising the programme with the support of, among others, NEPROM, VNG and the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning. An independent moderator will guide the programme and ensure its content remains focused.

For new administrators, this is an excellent moment to get started. By meeting one another and entering into dialogue, a foundation is created for progress in housing construction and for strong municipalities.
