PROVADA 2026: It's a wrap!

PROVADA 2026: It's a wrap!

For three days, the real estate sector stood shoulder to shoulder at RAI Amsterdam. With a record number of visitors, a packed programme and plenty of energy, PROVADA 2026 was an edition to remember. Below, we look back at the highlights — and at the end you'll find the photos and aftermovie to relive it all.

A strong opening

The 22nd edition was opened by Lieutenant General Dick C. van Ingen of the Ministry of Defence. The exhibition floor filled up quickly, and day one immediately set the tone for what was to come: great energy, busy stands and sessions, and plenty of networking.

Day two: a ministerial visit

Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning Elanor Boekholt-O'Sullivan visited the exhibition floor, toured the stands and took part in the programme. She reaffirmed her commitment to accelerating housing construction and strengthening collaboration between the market and government: making the urgency felt and getting to work, together.

Day three: the first International Investment Day

The final day was all about international capital and the future of Dutch real estate. With the first edition of the PROVADA International Investment Day, opened by Robert-Jan Foortse of APG, PROVADA brought together investors, developers and policymakers around concrete investment opportunities. From affordable housing and decarbonisation to the fiscal investment climate: nothing was left off the table. The message from the stage was clear: capital doesn't follow intention, it follows trust.

PROVADA Inspiration Award 2026

On the final day, the jury presented the PROVADA Inspiration Award for the fifth time. This year's winner: Michel Baars. Through New Horizon Urban Mining, MOOS and the Material Impact Fund, he has proven time and again that circular entrepreneurship is not a compromise, but a choice with real economic strength. The jury described him as "not a one-company man, but a man of movements" — someone who doesn't build companies, but ecosystems. A well-deserved recognition for a true system disruptor.

28,456 visitors: a record to be proud of

In total, PROVADA 2026 welcomed no fewer than 28,456 visitors. Thank you to everyone who was there: visitors, exhibitors, speakers and partners. Together, we made PROVADA 2026 something to be proud of. Save the dates for next year's edition: 15, 16 and 17 June 2027, RAI Amsterdam.
